Nursing Amendment Act 2010

The Nursing Amendment Act 2010 became operative today (6 August 2010) under BR 49/2010).
The Nursing Amendment Act introduced the requirement that all nurses must be competent in the English language, introduced changes in registration and requires re-registration every two years. Nurses must complete continuing professional education. A code of conduct may be introduced by the Bermuda Nursing Council and a Complaints Committee is established.
